As you might expect, Morgan wasn't thrilled with Lee's public airing of the pair's dirty laundry.

For the last year, the song has "followed me around and haunted me," he said, and it chipped away at his reputation.

In November 2013, the company chartered a deal that involved selling an enormous back catalog of their artists (including Evanescence) to the Bicycle Music Company, Concord Music Group, and others.

Based on the deal, Evanescence and other bands such as Creed and Seether were no longer listed as Wind-Up artists.

"People would say to me, 'Yeah, man, I know what you're going through,' and I was like, 'No, I don't think you do,' " Morgan explained.

" 'Your ex-girlfriend didn't write a song about you, that millions of people have heard, saying you're a bad guy.

"There isn't necessarily a response as there's a lament," the singer for the South African rockers said. I was really upset that she would say and do those things. But it was a painful thing and it got me down — people coming up to me on the street and referring to that song.

Yeah those songs where she is singing bout the loss of a girl, those are songs about when Amy's little sister died when she was 6 (Hello, Breathe No More, Like You), and how she never really got over it.

But yeah, she was dating the lead singer of Seether, but they had a nasty breakup, which is what "Call Me When You're Sober" was written about. Apparently she needs one as even her parents have said that she has a lot of issues.

Yeah and she is currently married to a psychiatrist, not sure if its hers though, but that would be funny. But anyway there's never been any indication that she's bi or interested in females even in the least to the best of my knowledge.

[Verse 1: Shaun Morgan] I wanted you to know I love the way you laugh I wanna hold you high and steal your pain away I keep your photograph and I know it serves me well I wanna hold you high and steal your pain [Chorus 1: Shaun Morgan & Amy Lee] Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome And I don't feel right when you're gone away [Post-Chorus: Shaun Morgan] You've gone away You don't feel me here anymore [Verse 2: Amy Lee] The worst is over now and we can breathe again I wanna hold you high, you steal my pain away There's so much left to learn, and no one left to fight I wanna hold you high and steal your pain [Chorus 2: Shaun Morgan & Amy Lee] Cause I’m broken when I’m open And I don’t feel like I am strong enough Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome And I don't feel right when you're gone away [Guitar Solo] [Chorus 2: Shaun Morgan & Amy Lee] Cause I’m broken when I’m open And I don’t feel like I am strong enough Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome And I don't feel right when you're gone away [Strings] [Chorus 1: Shaun Morgan & Amy Lee] Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome And I don't feel right when you're gone [Post-Chorus: Shaun Morgan] You've gone away You don't feel me here anymore Closing track on the second studio album from Seether.

The song features Amy Lee, lead singer from Evanescence and than girlfriend from Seether frontman Shaun Morgan.

The band also re-recorded and remixed yielded Seether's first No.
